The pigs progressively increase in size until they match the diameter of the pipe, removing debris and buildup along the way. Here's a simplified process: isolate the pipe, ensure valves are open and water flows in the correct direction, run a small diameter pig first, then follow with increasing pig sizes until a full-size pig emerges. After each pig run, flush the line with water. This method is recommended for cleaning pipelines but may require professional assistance for specific applications
