Fruitfully cooperating with its partner – the U.S. Civilian Research and Development Foundation (CRDF) and a great number of other international organizations over the last ten years, the Moldovan Research and Development Association (MRDA) played an essential role in supporting the science and technology sector in Moldova. Resulting from the sector needs for recovery and growth after a tough period of decline, MRDA channelled funds through various competition-based programs and complementary activities to meet those needs. Therefore, over 2000 young and experienced scientists benefited of various projects and trainings, while the Moldovan-U.S. bilateral cooperation established and developed through research projects, still proves successful and long-lasting.
