He has successfully done more than 700 bone marrow transplants (including autologous, allogeneic, matched unrelated and haplo-identical). He has completed his MBBS and MD from Jamnagar, Gujarat and his DM in Clinical Hematology from NRS Medical College, Kolkata. He has done his fellowship in Bone Marrow Transplant from Tata Medical Centre, Kolkata and specialist training in BMT and Chimeric Antigen Receptor (CART) Cell Therapy at Kings College, London.
