Pattern Thinking in Music

The programs are visual aids to using patterns in music.  They illustrate patterns in music and allow you to change aspects of the visual patterns (such as phrase lengths, contours and number of notes) by using on-screen controls (buttons, sliders, spinners).  Seeing as well as hearing changes will help you to remember and recognize musical patterns.  The programs are free, written in Java and released under the GPL
