Note
In recent years, with the large-scale exploitation of offshore oil and gas, submarine and land pipelines laying laid into the high speed construction. The special marine environment requires more anti-corrosion and relatively economic pipes. The bi-metal pipe contains the carbon steel excellent performance, economy, and the lining (corrosion resistance alloy) corrosion resistance. Meanwhile, with 3 LPP anti-corrosion technology, the bi-metal pipe make the overall mechanical properties of the pipe and internal and external corrosion resistance combine perfect . Its life span can be extended, and it can be served at certain high temperatures.

Manufacturing Process of Clad Pipe
The manufacturing process of the bi-metal composite pipe is to insert the processed thin stainless steel or nickel alloy layer into the the carbon steel pipe, and make the lining stainless steel pipe mechanically fit to the inner wall of carbon steel by the mechanical pressure or explosion shock wave. The welding of bi-metal clad pipe is much stricter than an ordinary carbon steel pipe, especially the harsh conditions such as high humidity, high salt content and dark surge, which put forward higher requirements for the slope and edge processing of the metal clad pipe port. Pipe end protection is the most important, and the service life of the anti-corrosion layer depends on the surface treatment. Generally, the clad pipe is mechanical clad process (explosive bonding) and metallurgical clad process (hot rolling). The bi-metal clad pipe has also been widely used in oil and natural gas.
