The media travels through the welded channel and is sealed between the laser welded cassettes by a ring gasket. Semi-welded heat exchangers use a unique sealing technology that places the laser weld on the outside of the ring gasket groove, ensuring good performance. The even sealing force over the entire porthole gasket is ensured by the smooth ring gasket grove.
