Gasketed Plate Heat Exchanger

Name
Gasketed Plate Heat Exchanger
Category
Note
A stack of individually stamped heat transfer plates composed of stainless steel or titanium make up a gasketed plate heat exchanger. The plate stack is held in place by bolts in a frame that consists of a fixed and movable cover.

Various installation sizes with different numbers of plates are available to cover the wide performance range.

Two plates are brought together as a pair and welded to the connectors in the case of safety plate heat exchangers. If one of the two plates leaks, the fluid flows into the intermediate space and out the other side. This eliminates the possibility of media mixing.
