What is piling?

It’s a type of deep foundation system used in construction and engineering projects to support buildings and other heavy structures. Piling systems take the place of traditional poured concrete for sustainable, versatile and long-lasting foundations. Because there’s no need to excavate the site or wait for concrete to set, the system is also faster and more efficient than traditional poured foundations.

How screw piling works

We use screw pilings, also known as helical piles or screw anchors. They are typically made of steel and have helical plates or helixes attached to them, which help in their installation by rotating them into the ground. They look like a large screw or auger and, when installed, they provide excellent vertical and lateral stability and have a large load-bearing capacity.
